Need Read Greed

Today's Need Read Greed courtesy of Charity Hall from Isle of View:

• Need: Happy hair makes a happy gal! My hair and head are so much happier with these Paul Mitchell products! The Tea Tree line is more natural than the original and still smells amazing (my favorite thing about Paul Mitchell!). Unfortunately, the price tag is a little intimidating on my budget. TJMaxx often has it at cut prices, and I always snatch it up! Good, quality (yummy smelling) products are always worth the splurge.
• Read: All of my favorite books have already been featured!! Seems that ladies like some of the same books! I just started this book and already love it. It's powerful, practical, passionate, and full of personality. I also love the fact that it's written in such a way that specific quotes and passages stick in your mind easily. Such a great book! 
• Greed: I realllly need to buy a camera bag as my photography business expands, but I've been trying to justify the purchase of this beauty. It will fit my camera and accessories and double as a purse. This is definitely a greed item as I need something that really is a camera bag. But I'll drool until then...

Think Spring!

The aisles at Target are stocked with egg-shaped candies, and the supermarket is filled with bright Tulips and fragrant Hydrangeas. Splashes of pastel colors can be found at most clothing and furniture stores. Signs of spring are everywhere, and I couldn't be more jazzed. Happy Monday, m' dears! Flyboy's been home for one full week, and having him around has been heavenly. I tried a few new recipes, and we even logged in some quality time at the beach. Sheer bliss, I say! I really think this was just what I needed. I was starting to go fifty shades of cray without his company. I was especially excited because his latest travels took him to Germany for a day or two. They visited a few towns that my family and I frequented when my dad was stationed in the area. It was fun to look at all of his photos and ticket stubs. It made me reminisce about old times and look forward to the day that we can take a Euro trip together. Until then, I'll live vicariously through his iPhone pictures and cherish our time together in Hawaii. There's so much to be grateful for!

P.S. Stalking your local Kate Spade store really pays off. I stopped by on Friday to ask when their collaboration with Keds would be available. Hours later I got a phone call and one of the sales associates informed me that she had just unpacked the shipment of spotted and gingham shoes. Naturally, I stopped by after work and picked up a pair! To say I'm giddy would be an understatement. I feel like I'm in grade school again—except this time I'll obsess about keeping my Keds white instead of my mother! I guess it's time to get out the Scotch Guard. Running around the island with polka dots on my feet never looked so good.

• Rectangular Objects: I'm loving Leif Shop's latest selection of artwork, especially this candy-colored print by Courtney Price.
• Cashmere Cardigan in Windowpane Check: My wardrobe would give this soft sweater a warm welcome. After seeing Mrs. O's appearance on Jimmy Fallon, I've fallen hard for this particular cardi. Besides, BFFs should have matching sweaters. Won't you agree?! If you haven't seen Michelle Obama's Evolution of Mom Dancing, watch the video here. You'll love it!
• Bando Pom-Poms: The shop added new colors. Eek!
• BKR Bottle: I love my BKR. This design, in particular, takes the cake.
• Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil: After reading Kelly's rave review, I think it's time I give my cuticles a little TLC this weekend.
• Bunny by Catherine Rayner: This adorable bunny has a name. It's Bernard. He just got cuter in my book!
• Island Girl Cocktail: Swap the Vodka with Gin and this could be the perfect beverage.
• Teeny Edie Purse: Pink or green? I can't decide. Both options are pretty precious.
• Stripes and Roses by Christy Kinard: Stop what you're doing and check out Christy's portfolio. It will brighten your day.
• Figure Everything Out: I'm looking forward to some R&R with Flyboy this weekend. Having him around has been so so nice.
• Cork Belt: This week, I'll make this versatile belt mine. I'm a sucker for the gold flecks and texture. It matches with everything!
• Loren Hope Jewelry: I'm incredibly smitten with Loren Hope's new arrivals. The Petra Cuff and Sunburst Studs are my favorites.
• Striped Jersey Ballet Flats: These Repetto flats are officially lust worthy.
• Sugar Paper Free Desktop Download: I'm a little bit particular when it comes to my desktop background; however, I'd gladly use one of these fabulous freebies from Sugar Paper. They're perfect!
