Dizzy With Delight

Did you enjoy your holiday weekend? I sure did, but I can't believe how the time has flown by. I feel very blessed to have had the company of my sister and her boyfriend these past two weeks. They've kept me busy, which has kept my mind off of Flyboy as much as possible. Not that I don't love to think about him, but it made being separated a lot easier. I definitely had my weaker moments, but I guess that's to be expected. Overall, this first holiday apart was a great success, mostly because of my visitors. Unfortunately, they leave this Wednesday, so we only have a few more days left together. I know I promised creative Christmas-related posts last week, but they may have to wait until later this week. Stay tuned. Until then, take a look at what we've been up to according to Instagram...

With excessive eating, glittery gold nail polish, and a whopping big dose of Vitamin D, I think it's safe to say we've had a grand time! I'd be happy to stick my toes in the sand with this duo any day. I'll be sad to see them leave, but excited to prepare for my trip to the Mainland to visit my parents in December. I love having something to look forward to!

Be sure to check One Fine Day tomorrow for my complete list of holiday stationery favorites! Psst! I ordered our Christmas cards last week, so they should be here any day now. Nothing makes me more giddy than filling out Christmas cards. Oops, there I go rambling again. I just feel like we need to catch up BIG time. I'll stop yapping for now and get the car loaded with beach gear. In the meantime, leave me a comment or two and let me know what you've been up to lately. I've missed you!

Toodles,

  1. What all did you make for Turkey Day? I finally overcame my fear of rolling out piecrust, and totally nailed it. Whoo hoo! Mike said the pumpkin was the best he's ever eaten, which meant a lot to me :)

Charlie and I got sick over the weekend, thanks to the germs Mike brought back from Nebraska. We're home today with hot apple cider and a Christmas movie marathon (including "Elf", with a reminder from Mommy that we do NOT belch like Buddy when we are out in public!).
