Happy Birthday Mom!

Dear Mom,
Surprise! I bet you didn't expect this. Thank you for being my biggest supporter. You're the first person to offer advice, words of encouragement, and a well-deserved woo hoo in times of triumph. You've been there throughout the good and the bad. You taught me to create my own sunshine, and you showed me how to be that ray of light for others. You've not only been a wonderful parent, but somewhere along the way you became my best friend. While I wish I could grab you and give you a ginormous hug in person, I figured this cyber hug would have to do until I see you in December. You're such a remarkable woman, and I'm forever blessed to call you my mother. I can only hope to become the lovely lady that you are. With each day, I see a little more of you in me, and I feel so fortunate. I'll continue to strive to reach this goal, but you've set the bar so high. You're a brilliant mother, wife, teacher, and friend. You have such a beautiful heart; your smile and vivacious personality light up the room. You care deeply, and you give selflessly. Don't ever stop being you, because you have no idea how many people you influence on a daily basis. I'm a bit jealous of those who get to see you regularly, but you're always with me like a hand print on my heart. Knowing this, I get strength and feel so much pride. I'll always have the honor of calling you my mom.

To the fabulous woman who gave me the gift of life, I truly hope that YOUR special day is filled with relaxation and celebration just the way you like! You deserve the very best.

I love you forever.
I like you for always.
As long as eternity, my mother you'll be.

xoxo
Ash
P.S. I hope you're not mad about me putting your picture on my blog. You're too wonderful; I couldn't resist! I just had to share your marvelous mug for all to see. With the best mom ever, I deserve the chance to brag a little:)
