| I'm excited to sit down and read Mindy Kaling's new memoir. She's been referred to by the NY Times as Tina Fey's "cool little sister." I'm sure it will be a hilariously great read! Anyone else plan to read it? We'll have to discuss. Reading and blogging have been exceptionally wonderful these past few days because we've had a lot of rain on this side of the island. The J.Crew flats and umbrella are my Mauka rainy day essentials. |

| I was excited to stop by Starbucks this past Sunday for a latte and cranberry orange scone. Can you say delish? There's something about this combo that makes a to-do list even sweeter! The new Rifle notepad is a gift from a dear friend. How cute is she? And speaking of the cute factor, take a look at this image of Flyboy on FaceTime. We've been fortunate enough to chat with one another -- it's been a-mazing! Beesly got comfy and enjoyed some camera time with her dad as well. It was pretty stinkin' adorable. Note: Flyboy's eyebrows look quite defined in this image. I assure you that as a good wife I keep his manscaping up-to-snuff. I blame the camera and shadow, because there's no way I'd let him deploy with brows as bushy as Bert and Ernie. |
I realize there are some Instagram haters out there, but I still find the app to be cute and fun. It's a quick way to capture little moments and treasures throughout the day. If you haven't downloaded the app, I would highly recommend it! It's a creative way to stay in touch with family and friends, in addition to adding a vintage look to your pictures. Overused or not, I'm still thoroughly entertained!

I just posted about being excited to read Mindy Kaling's book too! can't wait. Also I really wish that I had an iPhone (I have an android) so that I could use instagram! The pics from the app are so cute!
