Art I Heart: Steve Back

via Steve Back
How amazing is this photography by Steve Back? They're Rothko-esque abstract aerial photographs of the Hutt Lagoon in Western Australia. According to Back, the colors are naturally occurring algae that have been concentrated into manmade lagoons to be farmed for food coloring. Color me smitten! These images are absolutely breathtaking. I think I'll get lost in these dazzling hues. For more of the photographer's work, visit his website here.
