LIFE'S LITTLE DETAILS

"THE DETAILS ARE NOT THE DETAILS. THEY MAKE THE DESIGN." — CHARLES EAMES

Happy Tuesday, m' dears! After a week away from the ol' blog, I can honestly say it's nice to be back. I got a lot accomplished outdoors, organized to my heart's delight (makeup and closet purge, HELLO!), and managed to squeeze in MANY opportunities to play at the park with Max. Last week's highlights include Flyboy joining Instagram (What the what?!), getting our windows replaced, an air conditioner on the fritz (but there were Peonies in the house, so...), and Max smearing poo all over me when he discovered he could put his hands down his diaper after dinner on Friday night. As per usual, there were many Maxwell meltdowns (a toddler must!), Legos strewn across the house in the most artful manner, and Cheerios sprinkled around the premises like confetti. This is a glimpse of life at the moment, and despite the bleachable moment(s), I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Enough about me. How are YOU?! It feels like forever since we spoke last...

P.S. See that last pic? Hehe! I caught a quick pic of Flyboy showboating at the park on Sunday afternoon. I feel like the image is part American Ninja Warrior and part Beyonce. Just look at those boss moves...
